Job Title

Registered Nurse – PCU / Stepdown

Location

Atlanta, GA | PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license that is valid for practice in Georgia
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown unit
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations in a large academic or teaching hospital environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
