About the Position

Job Title

CVOR Surgical Technologist – First Assist

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first assist duties during cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures
• Scrub and assist the surgical team throughout cardiovascular surgical cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in accordance with established protocols
• Handle and pass surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during CVOR procedures
• Support the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout all phases of surgery

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR Surgical Technologist experience
• Must hold active CVOR First Assist (FA) Surgical Technologist credentials
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular surgical scrubbing and first assist techniques

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume cardiovascular surgical environment
• Strong familiarity with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and equipment
