Tax Preparer - CPA Firm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns. The right candidate will have experience preparing business and complex individual tax returns

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
Organize and analyze client financial information
Assist with tax research and compliance matters
Respond to basic IRS and state notices
Support senior staff during tax season

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
1-3 years of tax preparation experience (public accounting preferred)
Knowledge of federal and state tax rules
Experience with tax software and Excel
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
