Job Full Description Shipping Clerk (Direct-Hire) Our client is looking for a Shipping Clerk to work closely with the Shipping Supervisor and Distribution Manager to ensure daily orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. This position combines clerical and warehouse responsibilities and is a great fit for someone who is organized, comfortable working with computers, and has previous shipping or warehouse experience. Pay: $43,680 - $52,000 annually

Location: East side of Madison, WI Work includes:
- Prepare and organize daily orders and shipping paperwork for the warehouse team
- Coordinate orders and shipping methods to ensure products are prepared and shipped accurately and on time
- Create and process shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, and packing slips
- Answer incoming calls and communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipping questions or order issues
- Enter inventory and shipping information into computer systems while maintaining accurate records
- Assist with domestic and international shipments and ensure special shipping instructions are followed
- Work with warehouse and office teams to resolve backorders, order discrepancies, and other shipping issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area and assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred; 2+ years is a plus
- Computer experience required, including the ability to learn and use inventory and shipping systems
- Experience with JDE/E1 is preferred but not required
- Previous experience using a scan gun/barcode scanner is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities
- Comfortable following written procedures and working independently as well as with a warehouse team
- Reliable and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
