We are looking for a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support a busy wholesale distribution operation in Carson, California. This Contract to hire position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering dependable service. The person in this role will handle customer inquiries, support order and quote processing, and help maintain accurate account information while building strong product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer questions through phone and email with clear, accurate, and timely information.

• Enter and manage customer orders and pricing quotes while ensuring all details are complete and correct.

• Maintain up-to-date customer account records by documenting conversations, requests, and follow-up actions.

• Apply product knowledge to guide customers toward appropriate solutions and support sales-related conversations.

• Handle inbound and outbound communication professionally while meeting service expectations and internal standards.

• Use established service procedures and communication guidelines to resolve issues consistently and efficiently.

• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, email correspondence, and appointment scheduling as needed.

• At least 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in detailed work.
• Positive, team-oriented approach with a dependable and efficient work style.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Experience with inbound calls, outbound calls, order entry, and general customer support activities.
• High school diploma required; additional education or training is a plus.
