SAP Business Objects Administrator

Location: Remote

Duration: 6-12-month

We can only accept candidates that do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Key Details

Peraton is looking for this person to provide training and guidance on SAP Business Objects . This person won't actually be doing the hands-on work, but rather scheduling training and guidance sessions with the team at a time that works best for their schedule during 9am - 5pm.
Only about 3 hours of work per week so this would be for someone looking to supplemental income.
This person must have experience with SAP Business Objects version 4.3.
SAP Business Object 4.2 to 4.3.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plans and performs research, design assessment, development, integration and other assignments in a specific technical area.
Supervises broad team of systems engineers.
Responsible for highly complex technical/engineering areas.
May perform other duties, as assigned.
Facilitate session(s) to understand detailed requirements (infra, security, etc.): overview of shared services offerings, introduce managed services available, additional deep dives as requested
Demonstrate a thorough understanding and expertise in CMS Hybrid Cloud Product and Service offerings
Develop and maintain close advisory relationships with the Application Development Organizations (ADOs) being supported within your portfolio
Develop and maintain a strong positive relationship with CMS Hybrid Cloud Product teams, including a thorough understanding of the Hybrid Cloud Product team's backlog and work ingestion process
Ensure all ADOs supported within the portfolio maintain a strong security posture
Through weekly/monthly reviews of performance and cost data, lead performance and cost optimization efforts
Lead all application migration and modernization efforts
Coordinate and ensure all production readiness activities are complete prior to any major cutovers are conducted
Create and maintain application profiles
Coordinate Escalations on behalf of CMS IUSG's Shared Service Providers and O&M Teams.
Apply Product Management principles to develop, maintain, optimize, and evangelize various products across the CMS ecosystem.
Maintain domain knowledge expertise in cloud operations and DevOps best practices.
Influence development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results while also leading work of other technical staff.
Resolve highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience managing a portfolio of applications
Experience successfully working across multiple vendors
Knowledge of cloud-based security tools, best practices and policies including demonstrated experience protecting all layers of the application stack.
Knowledge of the S oftware Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage conflict effectively.
Ability to adapt and be productive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills supporting multiple stakeholders and business operations.
Self-starter, self-managed, and a team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator).
Agile-based knowledge and skill, including experience with Scrum Ceremonies and work management tools (e.g., (JIRA, Confluence).
Security Skills-Knowledge of information assurance compliance and information security basics within CMS.
