Pharmacist | Morrisonville, New York

A leading retail pharmacy location in Plattsburgh, NY is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with variable hours, including evenings and typically 4x10 or 4x12 shifts (e.g., 8am-8pm).


Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy operations to meet financial objectives, including budget management, payroll oversight, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Provide leadership and supervision for pharmacy support personnel, including training, performance reviews, and accountability for compliance.
• Engage in community and in-store business development initiatives.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on proper drug use, interactions, side effects, and therapy optimization.
• Commit to continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance patient safety.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Complete state-required continuing education and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License.
• Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules with evening availability.
