Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy TechnicianThe Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing entry level warehouse duties including preparing for production by reviewing production schedule; studying and clarifying specifications; calculating requirements; assembling and weighing materials and supplies. The Pharmacy Technician documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.Responsibilities:Maintain the pharmacy and equipment in a clean, neat and orderly manner at all times.Assure that all logbooks, manufacturing records, and other official documents are completed in an accurate and timely manner.Requisition materials needed from the warehouse. Verify that all materials received are correct, released, and within the expired period. Clean all containers prior to use, assuring that they are free from dust and debrisWeigh materials according to master records and record all dispensing information in an accurate and timely manner. Dispense materials on a first in/first out basis. Use partial drums first where applicable.
