License: State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal

Certifications: BLS, ARRT

Description: This is a true 7-on/7-off night shift position. The schedule is arranged so the traveler works:

• Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (4 x 10-hour shifts = 40 hours)
• Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (3 x 10-hour shifts = 30 hours)

Unit accepts first-time travelers. Charting System experience is required with familiarity with any common system. Candidates must possess experience in adult acute care and adult outpatient settings. Experience with various imaging equipment (GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba) is essential. Understanding of patient care for multiple age groups including neonate to older adults is necessary. Knowledge of isolation precautions and preparation/administering of contrast media is required. Skills in starting peripheral IVs and handling musculoskeletal trauma cases are needed.
