James Medical Oncology - D/N OnlyAYA oncology experience preferred but not required! Staffing ratios - goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5. Weekends - variable based on unit needs. No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff. Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units. 2 years of experience required.Patient age group: Adults, Geriatrics.Patient diagnoses: The most common diagnoses include all subtypes of the following: Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Colon Cancer, Esophageal Cancer, Encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy.Special procedures/unit details: 17 James cares for all solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care. Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls. Cares for patients that have true med surg issues.Certifications required: BLS.Skills required: Telemetry interpretation, Telemetry monitoring.Certifications preferred: ONS Chemo, COMPUTERIZED CHARTING, EPIC, Previous travel experience preferred!Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com): WMC Agency Permit (Most Convenient Option) - 24/7 access to Wexner Medical Center Garage (guaranteed availability).
