Senior Real Estate AssociateA leading global law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Associate to join its nationally recognized Real Estate practice. This role is ideal for an experienced real estate attorney who thrives in complex transactions, values direct client interaction, and is looking to deepen their experience across multiple asset classes within a highly respected practice.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases (including ground and triple-net leases), build-to-suit leases, development agreements, joint venture documents, and related contractsLead due diligence efforts, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and land use mattersCoordinate and close acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactionsManage transaction timelines and workstreams while delivering high-quality client outcomesMentor junior attorneys and collaborate closely with partners and cross-functional teamsPractice EnvironmentThe firm's Real Estate group is known for its strong commercial judgment, practical approach, and ability to handle complex, large-scale transactions efficiently. Associates are given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and are supported by partners committed to mentorship and long-term development.Position RequirementsExperience & Technical QualificationsMinimum 10 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experienceStrong background in acquisitions and dispositions, build-to-suit leasing (industrial/data center assets), and complex commercial and ground leasesExperience handling due diligence, zoning/entitlement matters, and complex closingsPrior experience at a major law firm with a national platform requiredExperience mentoring junior attorneys is a plusPersonal Skills & AttributesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesClient-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple high-level matters in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative, proactive, and team-orientedBar AdmissionMust be licensed and in good standing in the applicable jurisdictionWashington, D.C. candidates may waive in, if eligibleCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $345,000 – $440,000 (based on experience and location)Title commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, PTO, holidays, and bonus eligibilityApplication MaterialsResumeLaw school transcriptDeal Sheet
