Pro Shop Attendant

Charles Myers Golf Course, located in Charlotte, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Pro Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be coachable and have basic computer skills
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred
• Sunday availability required

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform clerk/cashier like dutie
• Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf cours
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in proces
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directe
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as traine
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplac
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the da
• Ensure property and it's amenities are secured dail
• Assist with set-up of equipment and golf cart
• When acting as an "Outside" staff member
• Perform Starter/Ranger like dutie
• Responsible for welcoming and greeting of guests and players in a friendly manne
• Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups if neede
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facilit
• Assist with the set-up and organization of the golf carts and equipment for any regular tee time starts or outin
• Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play of groups to prevent delay
• Answer all questions in a friendly manner. Keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessar
• Ensure that each group has four players if possibl
• Responsible for the picking up and cleaning practice balls when schedule
• Ensure property and it's amenities are secured daily
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager
