Aircraft Technician

Aerotek is currently hiring for an A&P Technician opening in Bloomington, IL for a General Aviation and Corporate Jet client of ours.

Job Description

Work on a variety of General Aviation (GA) and private jets, including some turboprop aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various aircraft.
• Conduct routine, phase, and hourly inspections.
• Address and correct discrepancies and pilot-reported issues.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of and adherence to FAA regulations and 145 Certification standards.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license (currently accepting entry-level and experienced A&P Mechanics)
• Tools

Work Environment

Work in a newly remodeled, clean hangar. The role primarily follows a Monday to Friday, first-shift schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional weekend work. Our expanding operations into State Farms Hangers offer a modern and busy environment, ensuring ample opportunities for growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
