Production Assembler

Production AssemblerReeb®, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Production Assembler to join our team for the assembly of custom door units, including doubles, patios, cut-downs, with transoms and/or special hardware. Finish carpentry and woodworking experience required. 1st Shift, Monday - Friday. Mandatory OT as needed for production. Starting up to $20/hr based on experience. In this role you will focus on:Responsibilities:Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble semi-custom single door unitsPrep material for assembly using exact measurementsOperate several different saws to cut materialRead work orders to assure accuracy of assemblyUse power tools for special door prepApply special hardware, such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks and panic hardwareQualifications:Ability with specialized carpentry toolsAbility to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun and other electric tools when necessaryMust be able to read tape measureAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to read and understand EnglishReading and interpreting technical drawingsSpecialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
