Forklift Mechanic / Technician
Lift Truck Parts and Service, is a family owned forklift business with excellent pay and benefits.
We are growing and have an opening for a full shop forklift technician to perform maintenance and repairs on new and used forklifts.
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair LP propane, electric forklifts of all makes and models
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on rental and customer forklift trucks
- Perform pre delivery inspections on new equipment.
- Ensure all safety items on each forklift are properly maintained and functional
- Keep paperwork and proper records of each job
- Keep shop and yard clean.
- Tag all equipment coming into shop.
- Must have own tools to perform duties.
- Complete any other assigned tasks to contribute to effective operation of the service & repair department.
Experience:
- Previous automotive or equipment repair experience is preferred, but not required.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction
Hourly pay is competitive depending on experience.
