Customer Service Representative – Insurance ServicingStarting Pay: $17.00/hr (English) | $18.50/hr (Bilingual Spanish) Are you passionate about helping people and providing exceptional customer service? Start Date: September 9 Training & Work Schedule First 45 Days: Fully On-Site Training Training Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM After Training: Hybrid Opportunity Schedule: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hybrid eligibility is based on attendance, quality performance, and schedule adherence. Important: No planned time off during the first 6 weeks of employment due to training requirements. What You'll Do As an Insurance Servicing Customer Service Representative, you will: Handle approximately 35-45 inbound calls daily from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions. Answer questions related to homeowners insurance coverage, policies, and payments. Research customer inquiries using multiple systems while accurately documenting interactions. Provide timely, professional, and accurate resolutions to customer concerns. Navigate multiple applications simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex insurance-related questions. Ensure all customer interactions meet company quality and compliance standards. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent customer service experience. Call center experience is preferred. Administrative, receptionist, front desk, and office support experience may also be considered. Retail or food service experience alone is not sufficient. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently. Typing speed of at least 35 WPM. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Active and reliable internet connection. Reliable transportation for on-site training and office attendance. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of call center experience. Previous insurance or mortgage industry experience. Bilingual Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply. Assessment Requirements Candidates must successfully complete: Basic Computer Literacy Assessment (70% passing score) One-Minute Typing Test (35 WPM minimum) Ideal Candidate You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy helping customers and solving problems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Troy, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
