Medical Assistant opening in NVLocated in Las VegasThe Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the surgery center. This role requires a professional who can balance patient care with the fast-paced environment of a clinical or surgery center setting, maintaining a high standard of regulatory compliance and documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support: Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; take and record vital signs and medical histories.Patient Coordination: Prepare patients for surgery, ensure all pre-operative documentation is complete, and assist with discharge instructions.Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records, manage clinical supplies, and assist with front-office tasks as needed to ensure smooth patient flow.Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all facility protocols and accreditation standards (AAAHC) to ensure patient safety and quality of care.Requirements & QualificationsCertification: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA or RMA preferred).Experience: Previous experience in a surgical or clinical setting is preferred, but not required.Skills: Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and strong communication skills.Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
