As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Reading, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government service center, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government service location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, public service areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and respectful interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
