Tax Professional for AI Model Evaluation [Remote]

Role Overview

As a tax professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing AI systems'' understanding of tax preparation, compliance, and corporate tax workflows. Utilizing your expertise with TurboTax, ProConnect, GoSystem Tax RS, and ONESOURCE, you will create and evaluate realistic tax scenarios that improve AI performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create tax workflow prompts and synthetic tax return scenarios.
• Evaluate AI-generated tax reasoning and calculations.
• Identify edge cases such as deduction errors, apportionment issues, and ASC 740 miscalculations.
• Build expert rubrics and reasoning traces.

Qualifications

• 4, 12 years of experience in individual, business, or corporate tax.
• Proficiency with TurboTax, ProConnect, GoSystem, and/or ONESOURCE .
• Strong knowledge of US tax law and GAAP basics .
• Excellent written communication skills.
• CPA or EA certification is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with corporate tax provision or multi-state tax exposure.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation or LLM experience.
• Knowledge of tax AI tools and automation platforms.

Work Terms

• Commitments Required: 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
• Engagement Type: Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave).
• Duration of Contract: 4 weeks; expected start date is next week.
