Facilities Supervisor

Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas and we’re looking to add a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to our team. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in electrical work. The supervisor will oversee the business’s essential assets, including HVAC units, plumbing, minor machinery repairs, painting, electrical, and lighting systems. Responsibilities include meeting with contractors to discuss projects and submit quotes to management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Regularly inspect the facility to identify work that needs to be completed Coordinate all installation, maintenance, and repair work Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work Participate in the hiring process, approve timecards, schedule overtime, and evaluate staff annually Conduct basic preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting walls, floors, and ceilings, and changing HVAC filters Perform electrical maintenance and repairs, including circuit breakers, wiring, and control panels Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations Perform basic carpentry as needed Install or repair minor equipment Collaborate with other workers, including managers and professionals Maintain janitorial inventory and work with purchasing to replenish as needed Travel locally 50% of the time Other job duties may be assigned by the manager Qualifications Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required Excellent planning and leadership abilities Organized, detail-oriented, able to problem-solve and overcome obstacles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols; ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repairs Ability to work in confined and high areas (rooftop, scissor lift) Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively with co-workers Basic PC skills, including Microsoft products Valid driver’s license Compliance with all OSHA general safety rules Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
