Armed Security Guard - Grand Junction

Advanced Professional Security is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment and providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches. Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively. Enforce company policies and security procedures to maintain a safe environment. Prepare detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities. Provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of armed security experience or military/law enforcement experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. Physically fit and capable of performing security duties. Compensation & Benefits: This role will range from $23.00 - $25.00/ hourly DOE Health insurance & Voluntary Benefits Paid time off Training and development opportunities This role will remain open until filled.
