Mecatos Bakery & Cafe located at 2904 Curry Ford Rd Orlando, Fl 32806 is looking for a line cook to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is hard working, motivated, and very responsible. Bilingual English/Spanish Responsibilities Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cook's food items by frying or baking, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Weigh and measure ingredients Organization of freezer and refrigerator Mix and blend batters Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed Prepare and maintain inventory Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment Cook existing items already prepped as they are ordered Qualifications Attention to detail in all aspects of cooking/baking Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal Line Cook Experience; Experience as a Baker/cook a plus Strong organization and active listening skills The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time Exceptional time management skills Ability to multitask is a must Ability to work alone We are looking forward to hearing from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
