About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Marketing to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the marketing team, with a focus on demand generation for both consumer and B2B segments. This is a full-ownership position that encompasses all aspects of marketing, from brand to demand generation, and requires a strategic and hands-on approach. The VP of Marketing will be expected to have a proven track record in building scalable marketing engines, with genuine experience in both consumer and B2B marketing. They should be adept at hiring and leading high-performing teams, and be a first-principles thinker with strong commercial instincts. Key responsibilities for the VP of Marketing at the company include owning the growth number for both consumer and B2B, developing and executing brand, content, and community strategies, and leading the go-to-market for new products and categories. The role demands a candidate with a high taste level, a strong point of view on what constitutes good work, and an experimental mindset backed by analytical rigor. The ideal candidate will have a bias for action, be willing to be in the weeds, and possess the orientation of a true startup executive.
