Job Description Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft and argue motions, briefs, and pleadings in Virginia courts Take and defend depositions and manage discovery strategy Appear in court, including hearings and trials, as first or second chair Work directly with clients to develop case strategy and deliver results Collaborate with partners and other attorneys across practice areas Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Active Virginia Bar license in good standing 3+ years of civil litigation experience with a law firm First- or second-chair litigation experience in Virginia courts Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Why You Will Love Working Here You will be trusted with real responsibility, supported by experienced litigators, and given room to grow your practice.
