HR Assistant

Santa Teresa Company looking for an HR Assistant M-F 8am-5pm @ $20.00 Duties include: To maintain personnel training and development files, perform evaluation of effectiveness assessment, and ensure compliance with state training log requirements. To collect and keep job applications on a regular basis. Conduct applicant reference checks. Maintain timekeeping and PTO records and prepare payroll reports. Prepare monthly timekeeping reports as needed for the production department. Work with the production department to prepare production employee schedule and distribute schedule. To follow up and assist the orientation program for new employees. To compile new hire documents and prepare personnel files. Assist employees with employee portal. To perform duties about personnel, administrative affairs and industrial relations. To follow up and take actions in order to fulfill OHSA requirements. To complete all additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Some college with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred. Minimum of 1 years of experience in Human Resources. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SAP knowledge is an asset. To have knowledge of Industrial Relations, Occupational Health & Safety and basic legal practices. To have knowledge of personnel and payroll processes. Customer service driven. Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
