Temporary Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities Assist in reconciling daily cash activity to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and aligned between bank records and internal systems. Support the research and resolution of reconciling items, including unapplied cash and timing differences, to maintain accurate financial records. Monitor incoming payments (ACH, wires, checks) to ensure proper application and account accuracy. Assist with dealer reserve check processing by validating data and supporting documentation prior to disbursement. Track dealer reserve activity to identify discrepancies and support accurate dealer balances. Compile reports and support schedules for cash and reserve activity to support reconciliation and management review. Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Dealer Relations, and Dealer Administration teams to resolve discrepancies and inquiries. Maintain organized documentation to support audit readiness and adherence to internal financial controls. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Actively enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance (required). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred). Experience: Prior exposure to cash processing, journal entries, or month-end close activities (preferred). Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook). Understanding of GAAP and cash operations is a plus. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Location & Project Timeline Location: A hybrid work schedule in our Chadds Ford, PA office. Project Timeline: Estimated duration: 8-12 weeks starting June 2026 concluding August 2026. Why Join Us?
