Logistics Coordinator OpportunityCAZA Collective is partnering with an established luxury jewelry company seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join its operations team in Great Neck, New York. This is a fast-paced, technology-driven operational role supporting the day-to-day movement, tracking, receiving, shipping, and reconciliation of high-value fine jewelry inventory. The ideal candidate brings experience within the fine jewelry and/or luxury industry, is highly comfortable working with technology and inventory systems, and can move efficiently between hands-on inventory responsibilities and computer-based tracking throughout the day. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple time-sensitive priorities.About the RoleThe Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, receiving and reconciling incoming merchandise, tracking inventory movement, and maintaining accurate shipping and inventory documentation. This individual will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-value merchandise is handled securely and shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, pack, and ship fine jewelry for replenishments, consignment orders, special orders, trunk shows, cruise line operations, and retail partners.Receive incoming fine jewelry shipments and accurately reconcile merchandise against invoices, packing lists, style numbers, images, and inventory records.Process a high volume of transactions and track inventory movement using internal inventory systems, spreadsheets, shipping platforms, and other technology tools.Create and manage domestic and international shipping labels using carrier platforms such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, and Malca Amit.Coordinate shipments with couriers, port agents, sales representatives, retail partners, and internal stakeholders.Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays, damages, customs issues, discrepancies, or missing merchandise.Organize and maintain shipping, inventory, and storage areas to ensure merchandise is secure, accurately identified, and efficiently managed.Assist with the packaging and shipping of marketing materials, including jewelry boxes, brand materials, point-of-sale displays, packaging supplies, and promotional materials.Provide operational support for jewelry-related projects and cross-functional initiatives as business needs evolve.Cross-train with team members to provide coverage during absences, peak seasons, and high-volume periods.Follow established procedures related to inventory handling, shipping, customs requirements, loss prevention, and security.Maintain strict confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism when handling high-value merchandise.What We're Looking ForPrior professional experience within the fine jewelry and/or luxury industry is required.2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, logistics, operations, or a related function.Hands-on experience handling, receiving, shipping, organizing, tracking, or reconciling physical inventory.Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including experience entering and updating data, maintaining tracking documents, and completing inventory-related reconciliations.Strong technology proficiency and experience working with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, order management systems, shipping software, or comparable business applications.Ability to quickly learn and navigate new technology, software, and proprietary inventory systems.Experience using online carrier platforms such as Malca Amit, FedEx, DHL, and UPS.Familiarity with international shipping processes, customs documentation, and shipment tracking is preferred.Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment without sacrificing accuracy.Exceptional attention to detail when working with jewelry, style numbers, quantities, inventory records, shipping documentation, and data entry.Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.High level of integrity, discretion, reliability, and accountability when handling high-value merchandise.Physical RequirementsAbility to safely lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and handling of inventory throughout the workday.Manual dexterity for tagging, packing, inspecting, organizing, and handling fine jewelry and shipping materials.Ability to push and pull carts and safely use equipment for transporting shipments.Ability to maintain speed, focus, and accuracy during repetitive and detail-intensive tasks.Compensation & Benefits$24.00-$28.00 per hour, based on experience ($49,920-$58,240 annually).20 days of Paid Time Off annually, including vacation, sick time, holidays, and personal days, accrued following the introductory period.Working EnvironmentOnsite position based in Great Neck, New York.Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM.Fast-paced, technology-driven environment requiring adaptability, accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency.Regular responsibility for the secure handling and movement of high-value fine jewelry inventory.Collaborative, high-performance environment where teamwork, flexibility, accountability, and operational excellence are highly valued.Why This OpportunityThis is an opportunity to join an established luxury jewelry organization and play an important role in the movement and protection of high-value fine jewelry inventory.
