What You’ll Do

As our Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in growing our field trip and group business. This is a hands-on sales and marketing role where you’ll actively connect with schools, childcare programs, and youth organizations to create lasting partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching and identifying potential customers, including schools, preschools, daycares, after-school programs, and summer camps.
• Reaching out to teachers, principals, and program coordinators through phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Generating new sales opportunities through consistent outbound prospecting.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools and children’s organizations.
• Responding to inquiries and converting leads into confirmed bookings.
• Following up with prospects and past customers to encourage repeat bookings.
• Maintaining an organized CRM/database of contacts, leads, and bookings.
• Assisting with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, email campaigns, and flyers.
• Supporting outreach campaigns for field trips, summer camps, and other group opportunities.
• Coordinating bookings with our operations team and tracking sales performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 years of experience in sales, business development, community outreach, hospitality, education, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence and comfort with making outbound and cold calls.
• Strong relationship-building abilities and persistence in follow-ups.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A self-motivated, results-driven attitude with a focus on achieving measurable sales goals.
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and basic marketing tools.
• Willingness to conduct in-person outreach in the local community.
• Familiarity with the Portland/Beaverton metro area (a plus!).

How You’ll Succeed

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

• Increase weekday field trip and group bookings.
• Build a strong network of schools and children’s organizations.
• Drive repeat bookings and group sales revenue.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and follow-ups.
• Foster long-term customer relationships and generate referrals.
