Safety Compliance Officer — Mechanical Construction Salary: $65,000 per year Industry: Mechanical Construction Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a Safety Compliance Officer to oversee jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project requirements. Responsibilities Conduct jobsite inspections and safety audits. Identify and correct workplace hazards. Enforce PPE, fall protection, LOTO, confined space, excavation, rigging, and other safety requirements. Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training. Complete JHAs/JSAs and maintain safety documentation. Investigate injuries, near misses, and incidents. Monitor subcontractor safety compliance. Assist with OSHA inspections and safety audits. Stop unsafe work when an imminent hazard exists. Promote a strong safety culture across construction projects. Qualifications Construction safety experience, preferably in mechanical construction. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations. Experience with jobsite inspections and incident investigations. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
