Program Manager

Position Summary The Program Manager will operate under the direction of the Severe Behavior Department Director to provide outpatient behavioral health services to children and adolescents diagnosed with severe behavioral disorders and their families. The role includes supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts and senior staff, managing clinical operations, overseeing compliance and licensing, coordinating staff evaluations, directing departmental training programs, maintaining policies and procedures, and ensuring safe care in high‑risk situations. Responsibilities Provide outpatient behavioral health services to children and adolescents with severe behavioral disorders and their families. Directly supervise Board Certified Behavior Analysts and senior staff and provide ongoing supervision to behavioral teams. Assist the Severe Behavior Director in supervising department office associates. Lead hiring, training programs, compliance and facility license tracking, and annual staff evaluations. Maintain departmental systems, policies, and procedures and ensure adherence to institutional standards. Handle moderate‑to‑high‑risk care situations, providing specialized behavior management training and ensuring staff safety. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Organizational Behavior Management, or a related health‑care field. Experience: Minimum 3 years in applied behavior analysis, including clinical operations and personnel management. License: Certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Word (and related applications). Key Skills: Design and implement individualized behavior plans; assess and communicate age‑specific data; maintain effective communication with staff, patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams; uphold departmental policies; manage multiple priorities; remain calm, patient, and empathetic; provide corrective feedback; know assessment protocols; and uphold ethical codes and institutional mission. Preferred Qualifications Additional licensure or a provisional license for mental health services in the state of Nebraska (e.g., PLMHP, LMHP, LIMHP).
