MOS Code: None Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or Public Administration, English, Social/Behavioral Science, or related field. License and Certification Texas Class C Driver’s License or equivalent from another state. Employment Type Unclassified contract position. Responsibilities Research, develop, and implement grant projects under general supervision. Gather and analyze data for grant opportunities through internet research, foundation publications, and contacts. Write grant proposals in collaboration with non‑profit agencies, governmental entities, and community organizations. Provide technical assistance and grant‑writing training to prospective applicants. Prepare templates for Requests for Proposals, letters of intent, citizen request forms, and grant applications. Review and evaluate applications, determine eligibility, and make recommendations to steering committees. Coordinate information across departments and agencies regarding grant status and compliance. Track disbursements of grant funds, monitor project progress, enforce contracts, and review construction pay applications and change orders. Prepare statistical information and assist in regulatory reporting to federal agencies. Conduct community meetings, prepare agendas, and provide staff support. Qualifications Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or higher as stated above. Valid Texas driver’s license (Class C or equivalent). Strong research, grant‑writing, and analytical skills.
