Salesforce Technical Architect

Role Description

Perficient is looking for a Technical Architect who can own the end-to-end technical solution across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Revenue Cloud experience is a bonus), and who is comfortable integrating third-party systems into the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a hands-on architecture role for someone who has designed and delivered multi-cloud Salesforce solutions, not just a single cloud, and who is ready to lead client engagements as the senior-most technical voice in the room.

Job Overview:

• The Salesforce Technical Architect serves as the strategic technology leader responsible for designing, guiding, and delivering scalable, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions that drive business transformation.
• In this role, you will own the end-to-end architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrated third-party platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical best practices, and long-term scalability.
• You will partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to define solution strategies, develop technical design documentation, create data models and ERDs, and support project scoping efforts for new and existing engagements.
• Acting as a trusted advisor, you will proactively guide customers through the Salesforce ecosystem, providing expert recommendations, addressing complex challenges, and leading critical technical discussions.
• As the senior technical authority, you will ensure delivery excellence by identifying and mitigating risks, maintaining implementation compliance, and overseeing solution quality.
• You will mentor architects and development teams, contribute to sales pursuits and proof-of-concept initiatives, stay current on emerging technologies and Salesforce innovations, and remain hands-on in solution delivery by supporting key declarative and programmatic development activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering multi-cloud Salesforce solutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and integration with third-party systems.
• Ability to lead client engagements and act as a senior technical voice.
• Proven track record in developing technical design documentation and data models.
• Experience mentoring teams and guiding clients through complex challenges.
