What You'll Do

• Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for patients of all ages, including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department cases.
• Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as needed.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures, providing education and instruction to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and protocols.
• Use technical expertise to operate MRI equipment and administer contrast media responsibly.
• Evaluate MRI images for quality and proper positioning.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, perform calibration, safety checks, and routine quality control.
• Assist radiologists with MRI procedures as requested.
• Operate hospital computer systems and report equipment malfunctions promptly.

What You Need

• Valid ARRT certification in MRI
• Prior MRI technologist experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of MRI safety and patient care standards
• Ability to operate MRI equipment accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
