Position Title: Phlebotomist II

Work Location: Asheboro, NC

Assignment Duration: 3 months

Shift- 8am-12pm (Mon - fri)

Draw blood on all age group patients and process including urine specimens.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

• Travel required to cover other sites if needed.
• Stand most of the time.
• Work independently.
• IOP environment.
• Approximately 15-20 blood draws per day.

• Potential for extension.
• Contract to possible conversion.
• In-person interview.
• One interview round.
• All standard healthcare vaccinations required.
