Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Visitor Processing in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a premier private club location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting members and guests, and responding to security-related concerns. This driving position offers the opportunity to remain visible, help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the property, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders, documenting incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
