About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Strategist to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of omnichannel advertising campaigns across managed-service and self-service channels. This role supports conversion-focused and brand-building initiatives, partnering closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaign performance and strategic value.
The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of media strategy, hands-on campaign management, and client-facing communication. This position requires a solid understanding of digital advertising channels, performance metrics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful launches, ongoing optimization, and actionable reporting.
Key Responsibilities • Execute and manage digital advertising campaigns within a defined scope of responsibility.
• Build strategic media plans and oversee campaign delivery across managed-service and self-service platforms.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to create data-informed proposals aligned with advertiser goals.
• Lead or participate in advertiser and agency meetings, providing guidance on media tactics, audience strategy, and campaign performance.
• Support campaigns across channels including paid search, programmatic display, direct sponsorships, connected TV, social media, digital out-of-home, and in-store experiential tactics.
• Monitor pacing, optimize delivery, and communicate performance insights and recommendations.
• Maintain service-level agreements and quality assurance standards for timely and accurate campaign launches.
• Identify upsell opportunities that contribute to incremental revenue growth.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to traffic, launch, and support campaigns across ad technology platforms.
• Troubleshoot campaign and platform issues to minimize disruption and maintain performance.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing or advising on digital media campaigns across display, video, social, search, and programmatic channels.
• Strong understanding of media performance metrics such as CPM, ROAS, CPC, CTR, and campaign optimization principles.
• Demonstrated client-facing experience with strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working in evolving, ambiguous, and high-growth business settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Deep experience in programmatic advertising, including DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges.
• Track record of influencing advertiser investment through strategic media recommendations.
Location: 1-2x per week onsite in Hoboken, NJ
