Customer Service Representative
Do you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and keeping details organized? We're looking for a Customer Service Representative who takes pride in delivering outstanding service while working closely with customers and internal teams. In this role, you'll be a key point of contact, helping ensure orders are processed accurately, questions are answered quickly, and customers receive the support they need.
Pay: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Long term contract opportunity
What You'll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries received by phone, email, fax, and ticketing systems
- Prepare and provide customer quotes using pricing tools and databases
- Enter and maintain quote requests accurately and on time
- Review customer orders to ensure all contract requirements are met
- Communicate order issues, discrepancies, and updates to customers as needed
- Manage customer claims, including coordinating returns, credits, and engineering reports
- Utilize systems such as Salesforce and other customer service platforms to support daily activities
- Work closely with production control, engineering, and sales administration teams
- Build strong, professional relationships with customers
- Assist with special projects and additional team initiatives when needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service experience required
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Knowledge of industrial products, fluid power systems, or related industries is helpful
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
- Problem solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
