Burlington Veterinary Hospital is Hiring a Client Care Specialist! Position Details Role: Client Care Specialist (Veterinary Receptionist) Status: Full-time Salary: $17.00$21.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, one half day per week

We're looking for a compassionate Client Care Specialist who enjoys helping people as much as they love helping pets.

As the first friendly face clients see and the reassuring voice they hear on the phone, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience for every pet and every family who walks through our doors. What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Answer phones, emails, and text messages while providing exceptional customer service
• Schedule appointments and help coordinate an efficient daily workflow
• Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
• Process invoices, collect payments, and review estimates with clients
• Educate clients about hospital services, preventive care, and next steps
• Help prioritize urgent scheduling needs while maintaining a calm, organized front desk
• Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide an outstanding client experience

What You'll Bring

• Previous customer service experience; veterinary reception experience preferred
• Experience with Avimark or other veterinary practice management software is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy
• Confidence managing high call volume while balancing multiple priorities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset
