Compensation: $47.62 - $56.39 per hour

Job Overview

Our organization, located in Belleville, provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services to the northern New Jersey community. With a team of over 700 physicians and 2,100 staff members, we deliver advanced medical treatments across various specialties. Our facility features specialized centers for wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics, cardiac services, cancer treatment, emergency care, and more. In 2017, we completed a significant expansion, introducing a modern four-story building that includes a private 32-bed Intensive Care Unit, a new main entrance and lobby, a retail pharmacy, a patient registration area, and an expanded emergency department.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate degree in nursing.
• Possession of an active New Jersey RN License or a multistate RN License with New Jersey endorsement.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• At least two years of RN experience in Critical Care or Telemetry.

Scheduling Requirements

• Full-time position.
• Day shift.
• Working hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Availability for every other weekend; weekday schedule will vary based on departmental needs.

Essential Functions

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for organizing and delivering individualized, age-appropriate care to patients within their assigned unit. This role supports the mission, vision, and objectives of our organization and the Nursing Department. The RN practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, and participation in unit performance improvement activities.
