The Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager will oversee a large kitchen team of 16 or more members, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional food quality, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Executive Chef plays a crucial role in driving the kitchen's overall success.

Bilingual Spanish a plus!

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large kitchen team of 16+ staff members
• Oversee inventory control and supplier coordination
• Maintain high standards of food quality and safety
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and protocols
• Conduct staff training and development
• Manage budget and control costs efficiently
• Create and maintain kitchen schedules
• Promote customer satisfaction through quality service and food

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in culinary arts
• Food Handler Certification
• ServSafe Manager Certification
