Maintenance Planner Scheduler

Maintenance Planner SchedulerAs the Maintenance Planner Scheduler, you will plan Mechanical Integrity (MI) work, communicate with Reliability Engineering, and fill out schedule for planned/project work orders within the Circleville, OH Plant. You will create weekly, monthly and yearly plans to ensure 100% scheduling of all PMs. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.Responsibilities:Obtain quotes or bids for planned jobs and projects work by PPG's Purchasing GuidelinesDevelop job scope for work that is planned or projectsCreate schedule for upcoming jobsRequest proper number of Contractors / PPG maintenance for scheduled days of work for planned/projectsCommunication with Maintenance/Contractor Supervisor on planned/project workPlan and communicate for parts and supplies that are needed for planned/project workAttend meetings for Mechanical Integrity (MI)Schedule outage meetings for work that is needed during plant outageCompleted all Work Orders in a timely manner within the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Maintain accurate job plans and details within the existing CMMSTrack outages for planned/project work using CMMS and complete when work has been doneEnter Purchase Orders for required parts and critical sparesCompletion of all duties assigned by ManagerQualifications:High School degree or GED required; highly preferred an associate's degree with equivalent technical experience developed through maintenance career path with 6 to 10 years' experience in scheduling, OR BS degree preferred with 3 to 6 years of proven experience in planning/ scheduling for maintenance.Ability to read and understand diagrams, P&ID drawings and basic schematics.Background in Maintenance requiredAbout Us:PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD®Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
