Heavy Equipment Mechanic

MechanicAs a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. We invest in your career!Job ResponsibilitiesInspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical issues.Use diagnostic tools and equipment to determine the cause of problems.Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems.Replace or repair damaged parts and components.Welds as needed.Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.Ensure that all maintenance work is performed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.Provide detailed reports on the condition of vehicles and equipment.Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance needs.Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance work.Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working.Ensure that the work area is clean and organized.Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with new technologies and repair techniques.Great attention to detail is requiredReporting any issues to the supervisor/managerAny other task requested by the supervisor/ managerJob Skills & RequirementsTwo (2) years of experience as a mechanic or technician.Trade School in Diesel Tech, Apprentice Program or military experience preferred.
