Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests.Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full-time Airframe Structures Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) in Marietta, GA. A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems. Responsibilities for this position may include:- Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.- Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs.- Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.- Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
