It Support Technician

Job Description We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and audiovisual issues while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, audiovisual equipment, and business applications. Respond to support requests via phone, email, ticketing system, and remote support tools. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues. Support Windows and macOS environments. Assist users with application support, installations, configurations, and general technical questions. Provide support for conference room technology, presentation equipment, and audiovisual systems. Document, track, and update incidents and service requests in the ticketing system. Escalate issues when appropriate and follow through to resolution. Assist with device deployments, equipment setup, and basic asset management activities. Qualifications 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience. Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices. Familiarity with printers, mobile devices, conferencing solutions, and audiovisual equipment. Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools. Experience with software deployment, inventory tracking, or asset management is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
