We're partnering with a manufacturing company, to find a Mechanical Engineer I to support their engineering team. This on-site role is located in* Rancho Cordova, CA. *It focuses on designing and drafting mechanical systems for industrial tools and machinery, offering an entry-level opportunity for growth.
Mechanical Engineer I Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical designs, create detailed drawings, and perform tolerance analysis following industry standards using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and innovate product solutions.
- Design mechanical components, fixtures, and assemblies for manufacturing and testing.
- Specify materials, analyze structural integrity, and account for manufacturing costs in project scope.
- Manage component data, revision control, and bills of materials within the company's ERP system.
Mechanical Engineer I Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least one year of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or related tasks.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing methods.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
