Position Overview

C. Casey Plumbing & Heating is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This position is ideal for a skilled, dependable plumber who can independently handle residential and commercial plumbing service, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and is comfortable working on a variety of plumbing, heating, and gas-fitting projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and service calls.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing systems and identify the source of issues.
• Install, repair, and replace fixtures, faucets, toilets, valves, piping, and related equipment.
• Install and service water heaters, filtration systems, and other plumbing equipment.
• Perform drain cleaning and basic drain/sewer troubleshooting.
• Assist with heating-system repairs, boiler work, and related piping.
• Perform gas-fitting work and install gas appliances when properly licensed.
• Respond to emergency plumbing service calls as needed.
• Read plans, specifications, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Safely operate plumbing tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work performed and recommended repairs.
• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining C. Casey Plumbing & Heating's standards for quality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License.
• 3+ years of professional plumbing experience preferred.
• Residential service and repair experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with water heaters, fixtures, drain cleaning, and plumbing troubleshooting.
• Gas-fitting experience/license is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Professional appearance, communication skills, and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in crawl spaces, basements, and other physically demanding environments.
