The qualified candidate must be PMP certified, with extensive experience managing multiple IT priorities at a fast pace.The successful candidate will be required to successfully initiate, plan and execute the timely and quality transition of Commonwealth transitions, coordinate across a mix of cross functional internal and external stakeholders. The project manager will work very closely with VITA Service Leads, IT Infrastructure Services Program Management Office, Commonwealth customers, internal VITA governance, executives, and Northrop Grumman to meet program and transition objectives. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in delivering IT projects, using project management tools.• Responsible for management of all aspects of the project• Ensures the project meets the desired scope, is on time, within budget, and delivers a product or service at an acceptable level of quality• MS Office, including Work, Excel and Project• Single point of contact for business related items on the VITA team to ensure streamlined communication between the vendor and VITA teams• Works with the new supplier/vendor Project Manager to coordinate activities, tasks and deliverables• Works with VITA's business units to coordinate activities, tasks, and deliverables• Actively manage project risks and issues and ensure development and implementation of response plans• Works with the vendor Project Manager to facilitate tactical decision making• Works with the vendor Project Manager to resolve issues, and manage actions• Facilitating and attending weekly and monthly meetings based on the program framework• Engage and manage agendas and actions for IPT Teams• Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) Monthly Reporting, statuses and other administrative requirements• Reporting at the executive levels• Create, maintain and manage a detailed project schedule• Monitor delivery, acceptance and approval of deliverables and milestones• Delegating responsibility to team members and ensuring actions and loops are closedQualificationsLocal considered onlyAdditional InformationBest RegardsAlka Bhatia
