About the Role:
Red Robin in Portland, OR is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen crew! If you love the fast-paced energy of a restaurant kitchen and take pride in serving up delicious food, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to Red Robin's recipes, standards, and plating guidelines
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, and sauté stations
Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control to ensure consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely ticket execution
Follow all food safety and handling procedures in compliance with health codes
Assist with prep work, inventory stocking, and end-of-shift kitchen breakdown

Requirements:

Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification is a plus
