This is your opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic kitchen environment where your leadership and expertise will directly shape the dining experience. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts Manage, train, and mentor kitchen staff including cooks and prep team members Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to uphold brand standards Control food costs through proper inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations Collaborate with front-of-house management to coordinate seamless service Create and manage staff schedules to meet operational needs and labor targets Requirements 2+ years of kitchen management or culinary leadership experience required Strong knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team Experience with inventory control, food costing, and ordering Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays About Us Red Robin Kuber Oregon LLC is a growing food and hospitality company proudly serving the Portland, OR community with a commitment to quality, flavor, and genuine hospitality.
