Business Intelligence Engineer

Salary: $83,200 - 104,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 3 years of experience in BI engineering.
• We require at least 3 years of Python scripting experience.
• We require experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
• We require experience creating data visualizations with Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• We require experience writing complex SQL queries.
• We require experience with statistical analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
• We require experience using SQL to extract data from databases or data warehouses and Python to prepare data for modeling.
• We prefer experience with AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• We prefer experience with data mining, ETL, and working with large, complex datasets in a business environment.

• We own BI support for our robotic programs by designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reporting solutions across Alpha, Beta, and General Availability phases.
• We develop and document SOPs for dashboard lifecycle management, including version control, data validation, refresh monitoring, access control, and deprecation processes.
• We identify and integrate new data sources, define metrics, and build data pipelines that support our BI solutions and cross-program analysis.
• We partner with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Program Managers, and engineering teams to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and automated reporting.
• We apply foundational statistical methods such as hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, DOE, and regression analysis to support engineering and program decisions.
• We contribute to analytics infrastructure, data architecture decisions, and reporting that informs the development and deployment of robotic storage systems.
• We build and optimize scripts in Python, R, and Shell to improve BI workflows and support analytics and visualization needs.
• We maintain strong data lineage awareness from source systems through metric aggregation to stakeholder consumption.

We are a BI Engineering team supporting robotic programs, and this is a contract role based in Atlanta, GA with a fully onsite work arrangement. The role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable analytics solutions that help drive decisions across the program lifecycle.
